A banquet to celebrate the first year for new teachers in the Warren County School System was held Wednesday. The 27 newcomers received a certificate of achievement, as well as door prizes and gifts.“I am so proud of each and every one of these teachers,” said Christie Allison, new teacher induction coordinator. “I have watched as they went from overwhelmed new teachers at the beginning of the year to veteran teachers by the end of the year.”Allison’s job is to work closely with all new teachers in the system to help them through the first year’s learning curve.“I’m their mentor for the first year,” said Allison.
