Workers disassembling a car Tuesday at Turner Auto Salvage sparked a fire that completely destroyed a garage and could be seen for miles."We had some workers sawing a frame in two and we think a spark might have gotten into some gasoline," said business owner Charles Newport. The fire started around 11:45 a.m. and Centertown Fire Department was first on the scene. A Turner Auto Salvage worker filmed the fire on her cellphone and said it took 18 minutes from the time the fire started till the time firefighters had the towering flames reduced to flickers. It's the second time the business has caught fire. The first time, in October 2000, was a complete loss."In that first fire, we had everything in one building," said Newport.
