The Warren County High School club that collected and distributed free pants to the community is offering a new program that will provide clothes to school-age children.“We are collecting shirts, pants and hoodies,” said FCCLA president Lindsey Basham. “This replaces our Traveling Pants event. What we found by offering Traveling Pants is there is a great need in schools for emergency clothing.”Emergency clothing, such as pants, shirts, hoodies, socks and underwear, is kept at each school in various sizes that might be needed for children who have mishaps at school or come to school wearing something against school policy.FCCLA advisor Ann Terry says accidents do happen.“We had a girl in here the other day who snagged her pants getting off the bus,” she said.
