Junior Auxiliary will be holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt next Saturday, April 19, at Hickory Creek Elementary. The search begins at 10 a.m.The event, called “Hopping Into Health,” is a community service project by group members and is offered free to children from birth to 10 years old.For those wanting to get a jump on egg hunts, there is one this weekend at Rock Island Church of Christ. The event, called Flashlight Egg Hunt, is this Saturday beginning at 5:30 p.m. For those wanting to wait until Easter weekend, Hopping Into Health is next Saturday.“Hopping Into Health is by far our most popular service project,” said Junior Auxiliary member Paige Chastain.
