ETSU spring dean’s list

East Tennessee State University has announced the names of students who attained a GPA qualifying them for inclusion in the dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester. To receive this honor, students must successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours of undergraduate coursework with a GPA of at least 3.7 on a 4.0 scale.
Students from Warren County who made the dean’s list, as provided by the school, are Patty B. Atwood, Michael P. Barnes, Jessica B. Bouldin, Robert N. Eschenbacher, Blair M. Fisher, Amber N. Hale, Billy C. Holland, Jessie A. Kennedy, Amanda L. Marten, Ashley L. Rambo, Ashlen B. Redmon, and Austin T. Wright.

Sewanee dean’s list

Two McMinnville students have been named to the dean’s list at the University of the South. To earn a place on the Sewanee dean’s list, a student must earn a minimum GPA of 3.625 on a 4.0 scale.
Making the dean’s list are Amiel Emerson and Simey Emerson Hernandez. They are the children of Esther Hernandez and David Rivardo Emerson.
The University of the South, familiarly known as Sewanee, comprises a nationally recognized College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and a distinguished School of Theology. Located on 13,000 acres on Tennessee’s Cumberland Plateau, Sewanee enrolls 1,600 undergraduates and approximately 100 seminarians.
