Early storm damage around county

Emergency utility crews are out in force on Viola Road.  Numerous poles are left leaning and two were down after early morning storms ripped through the area. The section of Viola Road, from Mt. Zion Road to Fire Tower Road, will be closed and traffic diverted until crews finish working. Caney Fork Electric could give no time frame to when the road would reopen.

Damage has also been reported around Harrison Ferry Mountain. Homes through out the county have lost power due to down trees. More information will be available as it comes in to the news room.
