A lawsuit between the city of McMinnville and Warren County government over local option sales tax will continue to drag. Next week’s scheduled court date has been canceled.Both parties will attend a settlement conference to try to resolve the issue. Officials will be notified the courtroom in the administrative building will not be needed Aug. 24, according to Clerk and Master Myra Mara.At this time, there is no word about why the date was canceled or when the mediation session will be scheduled.“That’s all the information I was given,” Mara said.
