A couple was hit with theft and fraud charges after they stole a woman’s wallet after she left it on the checkout counter at Walmart.The two entered guilty pleas for their actions last week. Allen Dolberry was directed to serve four days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and perform 25 hours public service work for fraudulent use of a credit card and theft. Dana Dolberry was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must perform 25 hours public service work on the same charges.McMinnville Police detective Stuart Whitman said the couple discovered the woman’s wallet where she had left it after making a purchase at the local retailer.“Mr. Dolberry placed it in his pocket and they left,” Whitman said.The couple discarded the woman’s wallet and her iPhone 5, valued at over $500, by placing it in a postal mailbox.
