Out-of-town visitors searching for McDonald's caused a two-car collision Friday night that sent one woman to the hospital. The wreck happened in front of Applebee's at the intersection of the bypass and Smithville Highway around 6:30 p.m. According to McMinnville Police, a Ford sedan driven by Timothy Gray was traveling on the bypass toward Walmart when it entered the intersection without having the right of way. The car collided with a Ford 150 driven by Darrell Walls, who was traveling on Smithville Highway toward Smithville.
