Warren County officials are looking toward receiving a new road, that of Old Nashville Highway, once TDOT has finished the four-lane to Woodbury.“When they open up the new road, they are going to close that little section by the airport,” said Highway and Bridge Committee chairman Gary Prater. “We won’t have to take any of that over, will we? It will still belong to TDOT.”According to Warren County Road Superintendent Levie Glenn, the section no longer used by TDOT as a state route will be turned over to the county.“In time, they will give it to the county,” Glenn said.
