Warren County Commissioners are steadfast against the state closing the local Driver Testing Center. A resolution will be under consideration this month.The county Safety Committee has passed a resolution “expressing opposition to closure of the local Driver Testing Center by the state of Tennessee Department of Safety and expressing support for maintaining the local Driver Testing Center in Warren County.”“We’ve had a lot of people who are concerned about it. When they close this one, I believe the nearest one is in Tullahoma and one there’s one in Cookeville,” said Safety Committee chair Teddy Boyd.
