McMinnville officials have reached out to county commissioners for support in their bid to name a bridge after Jeremy Brown, the Warren County soldier who died in Afghanistan in May 2010.“The city wants us to support naming the new bridge after Brown,” said Gary Prater, chairman of the Highway and Bridge Committee. “I’m in support of this.”A bridge project by the Tennessee Department of Transportation will replace the existing bridge on Beersheba Street with a new one. While locally named after the street on which it resides, the bridge is officially without a name.
