The city of McMinnville spent $441,254 in legal fees in its struggle with the county over local option sales tax. “That’s for everything,” said city administrator David Rutherford. “We went back through the check history, what we paid the law firm each month.”The almost half a million dollars was paid to the firm over the last two years.
