It was a resounding “yes” by McMinnville officials in going with state bids and saving money. Two large dumptrucks with snowplows and a one-ton truck with a dump bed will cost $276,804, a $22,000 savings. One snowplow truck and the one-ton truck will be used in the city’s Water Department, while the remaining snowplow will be used at McMinnville Public Works.
