The new McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen stirred the bowl Tuesday night over a decision made one week ago to provide reigning Miss Banana Pudding Katie Tubb with a salute page valued at $300. What was given Nov. 18 was taken back Tuesday night.“I would like to refer that $300 donation back to the Finance Committee,” said Alderman Everett Brock. “I don’t think the vote was done the way it was supposed to be done.”Last week, the prior board voted to honor a request made by Tubb for the city to purchase a page in the 2015 Miss Tennessee program book for her.
