McMinnville’s financial situation is good, according to Finance Committee chairman Ken Smith. “The good news is that expenses are holding extremely well and the revenues are coming in a little bit better than was projected,” said Smith.As of Dec. 31, the city had a fund balance of slightly more than $4.1 million, which is $700,000 more than the month before. Sidewalks and more police officers could be the benefit for city residents.
