McMinnville officials are discussing going out for bids on the management and operation of Park Theatre since the pre-selection of Park Theatre Group as the manager was deemed illegal by the Municipal Technical Advisory Service.City Building and Grounds Committee members Ben Newman, Rick Barnes and Ken Smith considered a request for proposal draft last week.An RFP lists the minimum requirements by the city as to what it expects from a management group, including services, community involvement, ticket service, maintenance and custodial services, security, references, and budget and financial statement. Any firm or organization interested in submitting a proposal can use the information to generate bid documents. The draft under consideration was generated by city administrator David Rutherford.
