McMinnville officials are considering a reduced fee for use of the Civic Center’s ball fields for a softball tournament to be held in August. The event could be a test case for future upgrades to the fields and may result in a change in the current fee structure.Warren County High School softball coach David Upton requested use of the city’s athletic fields to hold a weekend softball tournament. Teams would be charged an entry fee for admission, and the booster club will be responsible for operating the concession stands during the three-day event.
