Nine people were handed sentences recently by Judge Bart Stanley in Circuit Court criminal division. Included in sentencing action:
Terry R. Barnes was ordered to serve five days for aggravated burglary and theft.
Connie Barnes was given a five-year probationary sentence for delivery of oxycodone. The probation will be spent on top of the 90 days she must serve for violating her earlier judicial diversion. She must also pay a $2,000 drug fine.
Brandon Lee Roach was directed to serve 180 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $50 plus costs for sixth-offense driving on a suspended license.
John Richard King was ordered to serve 150 days of a four-year sentence, make $4,500 restitution, perform 25 hours public service work, get his GED and maintain full-time employment for burglary and grand theft.
Corey Wade Thomas was ordered to serve 120 days of a two-year sentence, pay $250 plus costs, perform 60 hours public service work and attend the adult recovery court drug program for violation of habitual traffic offender status.
William P. McGee was directed to serve 90 days of a four-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver.
Martin Eans McDonald was directed to serve 15 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $150 plus costs for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joy Anne Lee and Edith Blaschko Porrett must jointly make $2,330 restitution to their victim for grand theft.
Jeremy Brandon Mayfield must perform 75 hours public service work and pay $50 plus costs for driving without a license.
