Sentences were handed down recently by Judge Bart Stanley in Circuit Court. Included in court action:
• James Dean Nichols was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $850 plus costs, perform eight hours public service work, and lose his driver license for two years for second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license.
• Christopher Shawn McCormick was directed to serve three days of an 11-29 sentence and must pay $400 plus costs, perform 32 hours public service work, and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.
• Joshua L. Pritchard was ordered to serve 50 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $100 plus costs for second-offense driving on a revoked license.
• Randy Nowlin must perform 48 hours of public service work, pay $75 plus costs and was placed on probation for a year for theft.
• Joshua Brandon Crosby Vazquez must serve 10 days and must pay $50 plus costs for driving without a valid license.
• Herman Lee Williams Jr., must serve four days and pay $50 plus costs for third-offense driving on a revoked license.
• Mary Jernigan was instructed to serve the balance of her sentence for violating her probation for prescription fraud and TennCare fraud.
• John Michael Poss must serve 150 days for violating his probation for initiating the process to manufacture meth.
