Sentences were handed down recently by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley against those who failed to take advantage of their second chances. Included in probation violators:
• James Johnson was directed to serve 280 days for violating his probation for delivery of drugs.
• Jamie Lee Copley must serve 270 days of a three-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus court costs for violating probation for delivery of drugs.
• Christopher Cripps was directed to serve 30 days for violating his probation for simple possession of drugs and drunk driving.
• Johnny Barrett was ordered to serve 30 days and have his probation extended by three months for violating his probation for domestic assault.
• John J. Lillard was instructed to serve 60 days and have his probation extended by a year for violating his probation on charges of simple possession of drugs and fourth-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Jason Duane Madewell must serve 75 days and have his probation extended by one year for violating his probation for delivery of drugs.
• Billy Jack Nelson was instructed to serve 60 days and have his probation extended by one year for violating his probation for felony theft.
• Billy Dean Bess was directed to serve four months and have his probation extended by one year for violating his probation for aggravated stalking.
• Misty Carol Comfort was ordered to serve four months and have her probation extended by one year for violating her probation for delivery of drugs.
• Heather Starr Trapp was instructed to serve 90 days for violating her probation for aggravated burglary.
• Jason Byars had his probation extended by two years for violating his probation for promoting the manufacture of meth.
• Carrie Green was placed on the Drug Court program for violating her probation for initiating the process to manufacture meth and attempt to smuggle contraband into the county jail.
• Donna Sue Overall must serve the balance of her sentence for violating her probation for vandalism.
• McLouis Peterman must serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation for driving on a revoked license.
• Tracy L. Rice must serve 30 days for violating probation for fraudulently obtaining drugs.
