Santa won’t get run over by a reindeer, but there will be a Christmas in July Craft Fair this Saturday in Rock Island.The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rock Island Lions Club building at 2886 Pine Bluff Road. Admission is free and food will be available throughout the day.A number of local crafters will be on hand selling their wares. Among items scheduled to be on sale are wood-turned pens, duck calls, wooden boxes, baby rattles, candles, birdhouses, bamboo pillows, baby items with monograming available, arrangements, jewelry, locally made metal signs, ornaments, and other collectibles.“There will be a number of things to get you ready for Christmas early,” said Nancy Berlin, one of the organizers.
