The West Elementary pre-K and kindergarten class got a first-hand look at a farm animal recently when kindergarten teacher Jennifer Carter brought a live lamb to class.“I’m bottle feeding him so I just brought him so they could see the lamb,” Carter said. Carter has brought a variety of livestock to class, including sheep and chickens. The chickens have been a source of learning in the classroom as well.“We usually hatch the chickens in the classroom every year with an incubator,” Carter said.
