VFW looking to downsize, building for sale Some of you may have noticed the VFW and its 11 acres overlooking the Collins River are on the market. VFW Post 5064 Commander Doug Dietz says members are evaluating their options.“We’ve talked about downsizing,” said Dietz. “But anything is pretty much on hold until we can sell this property.”Dietz said the local VFW post owns the property and is looking to get $300,000 for it.
