County government budget discussions began Tuesday for fiscal year 2012-13 with members of the Building and Grounds Committee.Under review was the budget for custodial personnel, maintenance personnel, and county buildings.“It appears we have an increase of $10,000 from last year,” said chairman Carl Bouldin. “The budget request is $150,000, while last year’s approved budget was $140,000.”Making up the difference from last year’s budget was employee requests for raises. Of the three employees in the department, one requested a $5 per hour pay raise, and one requested a $1 an hour increase.
