With the man she is accused of attempting to kill apologizing to the court for getting her in trouble, Brooke Hale is a free woman again after the court found she did not violate the terms of her bond by initiating contact with her estranged husband, who is also the alleged murder target.“Out of ignorance, I pursued her and got her in trouble,” said Mike Hale during a hearing on Monday for his estranged wife, Brooke. The hearing took place before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley.Brooke, along with Jack Redmon, 44, are charged with attempted murder for allegedly attacking Mike Hale in the parking lot of the VFW this summer. Prosecutors say Redmon stabbed Hale twice, once in the chest and once in the abdomen, while his estranged wife was swinging a motorcycle helmet.
