One local bridge project could be completed this week, while another received an extension that will push the completion date back to late August.According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, both current bridge projects in Warren County were scheduled to be complete in July. The Ernest Crouch Bridge on Morrison Street near the high school will be finished right at its deadline, while Beersheba Street Bridge has received an extension that pushes its deadline back to Aug. 24.The Ernest Crouch Bridge is a $2.45 million project that’s being done by contractor Highways, Inc. Traffic has been reduced to one lane during construction which has forced motorists to wait at a traffic light with a maximum four-minute wait.“They are applying the final asphalt surface this week and they should be done in a matter of days,” said TDOT spokesman Ken Flynn.
