A local man has been busted in Coffee County for possession of methamphetamine and some prescription painkillers.The suspect, Christopher Bowden, 32, of McMinnville, has been charged with a laundry list of crimes including manufacture, delivery and sale of a controlled substance, possession of schedule two drugs, schedule four drugs and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia. Bowden was charged after Manchester police pulled over the vehicle in which he was a passenger for suspicion of reckless driving. Police received consent to search the car and the search reportedly found four bags of meth, 18 amphetamine pills, and several Xanax and hydrocodone pills.
