WCHS Black History Club members treated the crowd at the McMinnville-Warren County Senior Center to a rollicking performance of traditional African-influenced dance featuring the Crunk Steppers.Wayne Wolford was on hand to provide some driving rhythm and urge the group into an enthusiastic performance Friday, although they didn’t seem to need much encouragement. Wolford also had the crowd in stitches with his pointed barbs.“You’ve probably had your medications so we want to make sure you don’t drowse off here,” Wolford said, to general laughter. Club sponsors Tina Ramsey and Jalane Grayson said the group has been doing a series of performances at various facilities around town to celebrate Black History Month.Ramsey said they had a busy morning Friday.“We were at Bobby Ray School at 8 a.m. this morning,” Ramsey said.
