Banks balks at building barn

A man who failed to deliver on a barn he promised to build was among the cases heard Tuesday by Judge Bill Locke on the General Sessions trial docket.The suspect, James H. Banks waived his right to preliminary hearing and was bound to the grand jury on the charge of theft over $10,000. His binding comes after the victim in the case said he paid Banks $10,835 to build a barn for him on R. Gribble Road. The victim said he originally paid the suspect $1,500 and he did a small amount of work on the barn.
