The Warren County High School Pioneer wrestling team had a double match Monday night, as well as celebrating senior night at the Dalt.Receiving honors were Justin Bennett, 145 weight class, 10-3 record. He plans to attend TSU and focus on sports, accompanied by parents Troy and Norma Bennett.Also receiving honors were: Keshion Conaway, heavyweight, 11-2, First Sergeant JRTOC, plans to attend MTSU on ROTC scholarship to study criminal justice, accompanied by grandmother Sherry Martin; Mario Hernandez, 170, 15-12, plans to attend TTU to study automotive engineering, accompanied by Rosemary Gutierez; Hollie Yokley, 130 champion two-time state tournament competitor, 15-2, plans to attend MTSU to study nursing, accompanied by Amy Connolly and grandmother Joy Mitchell;Jessie Saunders, 145, 8-3, plans to study welding at TCAT in Livingston, accompanied by parents Dr. Craig and Carrol Saunders.The wrestling team showed up in force on senior night, defeating Livingston Academy, 42-30, and tying Saint Andrews Sewanee, 24-24.“I’ve really seen an improvement since we wrestled Livingston the first time,” said WCHS coach Stephen Martin. “There was a huge difference.
