For a team that prides itself on pitching and defense, Colby Elkins and Cameron Shaw showed Tuesday the Warren County Middle School baseball team has plenty of pop at the plate. Elkins hit a two-run home run in the first inning and Shaw homered in the sixth to lead the Pioneers to a 10-4 victory over the Franklin South Trojans.Warren County (12-1) won for the 11th straight time, clinching the Central Tennessee Conference title in the process. In the win, the Pioneer offense kept the volunteers who update the left-field scoreboard at Pioneer Park busy.
