Kingston Judkins and the Pioneers struggled against Tullahoma West Monday, falling 51-26.

The WCMS Lady Pioneers seem to finding their footing as the season goes along, but the Pioneers are still trying to get in the groove.

The Lady Pioneers stomped Tullahoma West Monday, winning 47-15 behind big nights from Izzy Geesling and Adasah Haswell. In the night cap, the Pioneers fell 51-26.

The WCMS girls built off the momentum of last week's big win over Cannon County with another impressive showing against Tullahoma West. Geesling and Haswell showed off their great aim from downtown, combining to sink four 3-pointers in the third quarter when Warren County turned a 13-10 halftime advantage into a romp.

Haswell ended up finishing with a game-high 12 points, while Geesling scored 11. Kinsley Simpson, another talented young guard for the Lady Pioneers, scored eight of her 10 points in the fourth quarter to finish off Tullahoma.

Rounding out the WCMS scoring in the team's second win was Maelee Turner and Anna Templeton with seven points each.

Dreams of a road sweep against Tullahoma West were quickly dashed once the boys game began. West outscored WCMS 17-2 in the first quarter and built its lead to 33-11 by halftime.

Warren County found a bit of a rhythm after the break, but never got the deficit below double digits as the group fell to 1-6 this year.

Kingston Judkins led the Pioneers with 13 points, followed by Aiden van Vuuren with seven, Cason Farrar with four and Austin Breedlove with two.

Warren County will finish the week with a pair of home games. The Pioneers and Lady Pioneers are set to face off with Franklin North at home Thursday and then will play a make-up game against Tullahoma East Friday. Action is slated to start at 6 p.m. both nights.
