Ashton Whiles tossed a no-hitter and the Lady Pioneer bats showed up in a big way while helping the Warren County Middle School softball team sweep a doubleheader against Franklin South Wednesday.Whiles’ no-hitter came in the second game, which Warren County won 8-0. In the first contest, the Lady Pioneers erupted for seven runs in the fifth inning while cruising to a 12-1 victory.Warren County (9-3) was supposed to face Franklin South Monday and Tuesday, but weather forced the teams to play a doubleheader Wednesday. Looking for Central Tennessee Conference wins, the Lady Pioneers used a mix of big hitting and great pitching to sweep the games.Kyra Hillis got the scoring started in game one with an RBI double that put Warren County ahead 2-0 in the first inning.
