An impressive run by the Warren County Middle School girls basketball team in the postseason came to an end Monday as the Lady Pioneers lost to Grassland Middle School 40-31 in the TMSAA Sectionals.

It was the third straight year the WCMS girls have advanced to sectionals, which were first put in place in 2022-23.
