As the Lady Trojans pulled away, Lady Pioneer Beth Vaughn got free from the Franklin South defense and hit her mark over the defense. The other offense came when Savannah Cox knocked down a pair of free throws after the contact brought out the whistle and at the end of one WCMS trailed 11-4.
It was more Franklin South offense in the second quarter and it looked like a mirror image of the first period. Holman again led the attack with less shots from the floor and more trips to the free-throw line. Haley Cash and Angela Tarrant combined for three points before the half.
