The WCMS Lady Pioneers attempted to fight off an aggressive attack by a group of Lady Trojans who were out for a win. The Lady Trojan pressure defense forced the Lady Pioneer offense into bad decisions and turnovers early.The early pressure by Franklin South paid off in the end with a 36-22 win over WCMS.Lady Trojan Ashlin Holman led all scorers with a game-high 19 points and the Lady Pioneers searched for a way to stop Holman the entire four quarters.Holman led the attack on the Lady Pioneer defense and she wasted little time in getting to the rim. Her pursuit of the basketball netted her six points in the first period.
