The WCMS football team produced several highlight plays Tuesday night, but the Pioneers couldn’t get past an undefeated Tullahoma squad.Tullahoma used its massive offensive line to grind out a 22-6 win at Nunley Stadium.“They got all kinds of push against us up front,” said WCMS coach Donnie Harris. That push came from the fact Tullahoma was much bigger and used size to its advantage.“We average 250 pounds on our offensive line, which is very big for an eighth-grade team,” said Tullahoma coach Mike Frederick. “This is one of the better lines I’ve had here.”The biggest play for the Pioneers came on their final drive when QB Uriah King connected with WR Blake Anaya for a 32-yard touchdown strike. On the play, King was under heavy pressure but he managed to heave the ball downfield before getting hit. Anaya was well covered, but he made an over-the-shoulder catch with a defender all over him.
