WCHS wrestling camp welcomes young grapplers

This week, the Warren County High School wrestling team held a camp for children of all ages at Charlie Dalton Gym. All of the kids who participated learned different techniques of the sport of wrestling, including stance and how to move on the mat and several other skills.There were around 15-16 participants who were there consistently every day for camp. Altogether the camp had 40-50 individual kids and teens who participated in the camp throughout the week.WCHS wrestling coach Stephen Martin had some insight on what the kids have learned throughout camp and what the sport of wrestling really is.“Most people when they hear of wrestling, they think of professional wrestling but this is a competitive sport.
