The Warren County High School girls softball team doubled its win total in the span of 24 hours at the MTSCA Tournament in Clarksville over the weekend.
The Lady Pioneers swept through pool play, defeating Clay County, Station Camp and Montgomery Central.
Monica Lane pitched a complete-game shutout in the team’s 3-0 victory over Clay County.
Gabi Keith was equally impressive in the circle against Station Camp, allowing three hits and one run in Warren County’s 3-1 win.
Freshman K.B. Cantrell pitched three innings to get the 3-1 win over Montgomery Central. Lane came in to pick up the save.
Warren County, which improved to 6-1, entered tournament play with a bye thanks to its impressive record in pool play.
The single-elimination tournament was rained out Saturday afternoon.
