The WCHS boys and girls golf teams were back in action Monday morning as they traveled to Cookeville to compete in the Cookeville Early Bird Tournament at Tennessee Tech Golf Club.The boys team placed fifth out of 12 teams on the day as Cookeville and Tullahoma finished one and two. Bracton Womack led the way for the Pioneers as he shot 64, which was good for second overall in individual competition. Levi Craven and Jaden Pyburn both shot 84, while Peyton Haston and Bunker Brock, shot 85 and 79, respectfully.On the girls side, Valeria Vargas led the way as she shot 77, while Alli Mingle and Ireland Moore both shot 94.
