The Warren County High School boys tennis team needs to call Pat Riley and ask for permission to use his catch phrase because the Pioneers have officially pulled off a “three-peat.”The Pioneers won the District 6-AAA tournament for the third straight season Tuesday, defeating White County 4-0 in a best-of-seven match.Warren County has dominated District 6-AAA since its inception three years ago. With seniors Thomas Locke, Seth Grissom and Mitchell Fuqua leading the way, the Pioneers had no trouble beating the Warriors for the third time this season.Locke won the No. 1 singles match over Crockett Sewell by taking the first set 6-2, then coming back to win the third set 6-3.Grissom dropped his opening set against Jonathan Griffin 6-4, but won the next two sets 6-2, 6-3.Fuqua came up with the clinching win, defeating Austin Holman 6-3, 4-6, 6-0, right before Jake Hunt defeated Dylan Pryor in straight sets.Junior Bryce Caten was the third Pioneer to win Tuesday at Cookeville High School.
