The Warren County High School girls basketball team snapped a 12-year losing streak to White County in December. The Warriorettes looked like they were ready to start a new streak Tuesday at Charlie Dalton Gym.White County moved its winning streak to five straight games and remained tied for the District 6-AAA lead with a 69-31 whipping of Warren County Tuesday night.Warren County (15-11) fell to 1-5 in district play as it was unable to recreate the magic of December’s 51-45 upset of the Warriorettes in Sparta.Coach Erick Baird knew White County would present quite a challenge for his team, which was less than 100 percent coming into the game.“They are who we thought they were. They are a team with three college signees and a group that advanced to the substate last year,” said Baird.
