The Warren County High School baseball team didn’t just celebrate senior night at WCHS on Tuesday night, it also celebrated another walk-off win, this time against the Stone Memorial Panthers. Senior Matt Savage had a huge night at the plate going 3-for-4 with three RBIs, including hitting the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to help the Pioneers prevail, 9-8, earning their third victory over the Panthers this season.Colby Elkins contributed at the plate by blasting two home runs, including a solo home run and a two-run home run to tie things up in the bottom of the seventh. Taisei Yasunaga earned his second consecutive victory on the mound in relief, going a third of an inning, allowing one run on one hit.With the win, the Pioneers record improves to 13-18 with the district tournament set to begin this weekend.The Panthers struck first on the scoreboard in the top of the first thanks to an RBI single, 1-0.
