The Warren County Middle School volleyball team ended its season Saturday with a second-place finish in the Pioneer Playday held at Charlie Dalton Gym.The Lady Pioneers won five matches Saturday on their way to the finals, but fell to Cornerstone in the championship game. The chemistry that led Warren County to finish 17-4 this season was on display in the early going as the Lady Pioneers had no trouble beating Avery Trace, Van Buren County and Algood in pool play. The only blemish was a straight-set loss to Cornerstone, which came into the tournament undefeated.
