Tennessee Credit looked poised to run through the girls 10-14 fastpitch league, but Edward Jones – Dan Sellers had other plans Monday night.

Edward Jones (2-5) handed Tennessee Credit its first loss of the season, downing the first-place team 20-9.

Plate patience and aggressive base running paid off for Edward Jones, which had just three hits while piling up 20 runs. The team drew 24 walks and stole 46 bases, including swiping home 12 times.

Ebonie Ross provided the biggest offensive highlight, cranking an inside-the-park home run in the third inning. Autumn Knowles came up next with a single, followed by a Hannah Ray single.

It was enough for Alexia Ross. Ross allowed just three hits while picking up the win.

Emma Muncie had an inside-the-park home run for Tennessee Credit, while Kennedy Scott added a first-inning double and Kaylee Sklenka singled in the third.

Tennessee Credit will try to get back on track with a game against Security Federal (2-2) Thursday at 6 p.m.
