The second race in the Challenger Round is complete and we learned the “best” car doesn’t always win. Kevin Harvick dominated most of the race but because of a bad decision on fuel mileage, he ran out of gas. Harvick last pitted for fuel with 88 laps to go and tried to drive conservatively to save gas, but Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth pressured him causing him to run out of gas with 2 ½ laps to go.
