McMinnville Swim Team members are getting faster in the water. They are picking up speed as the season progresses and they excelled Saturday during a meet in Sewanee.

“To look at where we were at the start of the season to where we are now, it’s so rewarding to see the improvement,” said coach Paige Northcutt. “Other teams are so impressed with what we can do in three months. We don’t swim year-round like the other teams we compete against. We have to wait to get started until it’s warm enough to get in Gilley Pool.”
