Clinic is Saturday

McMinnville Parks and Recreation is holding a free skateboard clinic this Saturday, July 17, at the skate park at Milner Recreation Center. The hour-long clinic will be held in three sessions. Participants ages 6-12 can come at either 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. Those over 12 can come to an 11 a.m. session. Some free helmets will be available to those in attendance.

Registration is currently underway for the Dr Pepper Tennis Tournament will be held Aug. 5-7 at Milner Recreation Center. There is a July 30 deadline to enter. The cost to register is $15 for each division. There are divisions for men and women, mixed doubles, and boys and girls ages 10 and 12. Competition will take place in A, B and C classes.
