Twenty weeks of expert picking left us without a clear winner. With a last-week surge during the Super Bowl, Rob Nunley was able to cap a triumphant return to the Pigskin Panel by tying Douglas and Lanier Agency for the championship.

Nunley actually worked his way into a tie before the Super Bowl even began. His correct calls on the length of the national anthem and the coin toss were enough to get him a share of the title.

While Nunley got to take a little of the shine in the end, Douglas and Lanier Agency still was the dominant group for most of picking season. With a strong rotation of picker, D&L Agency surged to the top early and never seemed to drop out of the top three all season - including leading the standings for the final two months.

Desi Jefferson, the sole representatitive for Citizens Tri-County Bank this season, nearly made it a three-way tie late. She finished one game behind the top tier, wrapping up a successful sophomore year for the bankers.
