Softball tourney honors King's memory
Chris King played first base for Hebron Church of Christ in church league action at the fairgrounds and coached his sons T-ball team in Newtown.
The Warren County softball community suffered an abrupt loss July 20. Chris King II, who was 29 years old, passed away after he suffered complications during a bout with pneumonia. King played for Hebron Church of Christ in the church league at the fairgrounds and he coached his son Camden, a member of the Base Runner’s T-ball team in the Newtown recreational league.As the news spread about the untimely passing of King, close friends Will Anderson and Alichia Hullett talked it over with Newtown rec-league commissioner Derrick Carter who was also a close friend of King.
